Tony is the coach of the Mighty Jazz Apples in the Barfoot & Thompson New Zealand Badminton League in 2021.

Tony is an assistant coach with the New Zealand national squad and coached the NZ Men's and Women's teams at the Oceania Championships in February last year.

He is excited to see how his players will respond and learn from the challenge of the NZBL, and hopes that younger players watching will be inspired to chase their badminton dreams.

The combination of short-scoring format, SKY Sport coverage, Golden Game and great sponsorship will be a treat to watch. I will make sure all my players give 120% on court.
