Badminton New Zealand is excited to announce the four franchise teams that will compete in the inaugural LearnCoach New Zealand Badminton League (NZBL). The OnePure Wolves, HeyTour Hawks, Tiger Brokers Tigers and the Huawei Dragons will take the court from June 16th.

Badminton is booming and it is great to be able to connect these companies with their target markets through the innovative new LearnCoach NZBL.

The HeyTour group begins a new partnership with Badminton New Zealand, one that is bound to soar in future years. Founded in 2005, HeyTour is a group management company based in New Zealand, but with offices in Beijing and Shanghai. With a focus on education, study, immigration, real estate, hotels, tourism and consulting, HeyTour celebrates diversity, a great reflection of the badminton community. Their franchise team takes shape in the form of the HeyTour Hawks, one set to ruffle a few feathers in the NZBL.

A familiar brand, and partner of the Barfoot & Thompson New Zealand Badminton Open, Huawei New Zealand had no hesitation jumping in on the NZBL action. As part of their 15th anniversary celebrations, Huawei New Zealand will take to court in the NZBL as the Huawei Dragons.

With an exciting mix of new & established brand partnerships on board, the LearnCoach NZBL is shaping up to be a spectacular, hotly contested league. Kiwi sports fans will be able to follow live action as the teams take to the court from June 16th, on SKY Sport Next and SKY Sport 9.
