Chris Benzie enters the season in hot form, having won the Boys Singles and Boys Doubles titles at the 2020 New Zealand Under 17 National Championships. A focus on a strong work ethic on and off court is key to his recent successes.

Competing in the NZBL gives me the opportunity to play against senior players who are stronger, faster and fitter than juniors. This helps me by increasing the speed of my game and will make playing people my age easier.
